'Project Jeremiah' is the The Tab Church Lewisham's faith based initiative which aims to positively impact especially the children and youth of our local community through events and initiatives which help to equip and empower the children educationally.

Each year The Tabernacle Church (The Tab) hosts a Borough wide event for all children and young people residing in Lewisham, who are either starting or going back to school after the summer break.

The Tab Church spends a lot of time and resources encouraging and supporting many of the young people in Lewisham to aspire educationally. We also understand that it is important for our young people to enter the academic term feeling confident and prepared.

In 2014 we partnered with local barbers/ hair salons and sponsored up to ten haircuts/styles for school children from 5-16 years, as a part of our Back to School support initiative called “I AM THE FUTURE”.

For the fifth year the congregation at The Tab Church Lewisham will be reaching out to the children in its urban community, by giving away WH Smith vouchers, to help ensure they are properly equipped to go back to school.
